I sincerely believe that education without experience of work or community service is incomplete in shaping any individual through his or her formative years. The experiential learning derived from working in teams in a real life work environment can’t be substituted enough by just coursework. Taking a philosophical view, while a person can know what he knows, he can never know what all he doesn’t know. So, one must seek opportunities for meaningful newer experiences to expand one’s horizons and grow in life. A work internship can be invaluable in that.
Our Internship Cell coordinators have been working relentlessly for getting the best opportunities for our students. I would encourage all students to seek those possibilities. And then make best use of your investment of time and energies to drive all the possible learning and experiences from it.
